So, Thomas Dempsey Jr and Bryan Dempsey both take loans in 1844. How does this Thomas match up with the Thomas (and Bernard) on Griffith's in 1857?

PJ makes an interesting point: The Junior for Thomas likely means that Thomas Senior is still alive. Perhaps Thomas Senior is Brian/Bryan's father?
Another from 1846. Not sure how 'charitable' it is to have 7 days to repay a loan at the start of the Great Famine! Thomas and Laurence Dempsey ... how does Laurence fit in?
