G2: Thomas Harte and Bridget Grady

I've been reminded lately that I don't have much on the Harte family. Part of this is because so much is known about the Hartes in my family! Another reason is that the Hartes don't appear in the 1901 or 1911 census, or in a lot of the civil records of the time period for most of this research (1860-1920) in their home townland, Cloondacarra.

I'm not sure why this is ... does Thomas Harte move in to the area around 1910, after the census?

Here's a start, their oldest child Jane born 1912:

I'll have to check this townland for other, earlier Hartes. Clooneykerney?

Registration District is Castlerea.

Their oldest son Thomas looks to be born in 1914. I'll have to send away for the actual image:

John, 1915:

Note, still in Cloonykerny.

Mary, born 1917:

Francis, 1919:

We know there were more: Bernard, Patrick ... 11 children?

So, my search had tended to be for Cloondacarra, but Cloonykerny is the key. 1911 census for Thomas's family:

Jane Harte's US naturalization, 1929. Address is 1889 Lexington Ave, her aunt Nellie's home:

Test to see how this comes through. Start of Harte family tree:
