The Killing of Major Denis Mahon, part 2

I recommended this book a while back, especially as Mahon was of the same family that owned all the estates where our ancestors lived.

Which leads us to an interesting take on the killing, since it actually took place near an overgrown bridge, and this author reviews those potential sites:

Note that the authors conclude that Cloonreliagh was NOT the site of the murder as it occurred closer to Strokestown.
